"Kauno grūdai" successfully completed a deal with AUGA group, acquiring a portion of its business, the cooperative company "Grybai LT," engaged in the production and sale of ready-to-eat food products.
The main products manufactured by "Grybai LT," based in Širvintos, include various ready-to-eat organic soups, stews, grain dishes, and organic vegetables in pouches.
The assortment and business of fast-prepared porridges in cups remain part of the AUGA group as we have our own porridge line under the brand "Activus." It has been agreed that for 18 months, we will use the "AUGA" brand for soups, stews, grain dishes, ready-to-eat vegetables, and legumes, after which we will replace it with our "Activus" brand. This is a brand designed for active and busy individuals who take care of themselves, especially the younger generation," said Andrius Pranckevičius, the CEO of AB "Kauno grūdai."
