About the Business

The history of the flour business is an integral part of the history of the company “Kauno Grūdai”. The mills of “Kauno Grūdai” make flour for more than 120 years. In 1887, while executing the decree of the Russian Czar Alexander II, the building works of the mill were commenced and completed in 1980.
